ベネッセスクエア(Benesse SQUARE)で行なわれた通年３回の連続展「教育へのヴィジョン」展の空間構成。巨大な白い発泡スチロール壁のみで構成した初回。それを黒く塗装し暗転した２回目、壁面すべてを岡山の特産であるデニムで覆った最終回、それぞれ効果的な操作で空間を一気に変質させた。ワークショップではデニムで家をつくり、それを並べることでデニムの街をつくった。
This spatial composition for the “Visions for Education” project comprises three continuous exhibitions held throughout the year at Benesse SQUARE. The first was composed of only a huge, white styrofoam wall. For the second, this was darkened with black paint, and for the final, the entire wall surface was covered with denim, a specialty of Okayama. Each successive operation instantly changed the spatial qualities. At a workshop, houses were made from denim, and these were arranged to make a denim town.
