収蔵庫や展示室など閉じた部屋を中央に積み上げ（その外壁はすべて本棚）、その外周にオープンでパブリックな場所を巻き付けた、立体的な街並みのような建物。
Sendai Mediateque is a building like three-dimensional rows of houses which accumulated the closing-rooms such as the storehouse and the exhibition room in the center (the whole of the outer wall is a bookshelf), and coiled the open and public space around the perimeter.
