「Y150はじまりの森」は「ラ・マシン」による巨大スペクタクルアート、横浜の歴史展示スペース、黒船レストラン、横浜地元企業の出店スペース、協賛企業の展示スペース記念品ショップ等からなる複合施設。
既存樹木をすべて残すように配置した構造体と、それが作り出す影によって森のような空間を作り出した。散策するような空間構成で公園のような半屋外型の建築物を作ることにより、従来のいわゆる独立型パビリオン建築の集合ではなく、一体感のある会場を作り出した。
Y150 Hajimari No Mori (Forest of Beginnings) is a composition institution to become from huge spectacle art by “la machine”, history exhibit space of Yokohama, black ship restaurant, the branch space of the Yokohama hometown company, the exhibit space souvenir shop of the support company.
I created the space that seemed to be a forest by the shadow and structure which I posted to leave all the existing trees created. Not the set of the conventional so-called independence type pavilion building, I created meeting places with the sense of unity by making a building of the half outdoors model such as the park with the space constitution that I took a walk through.
