高齢化が進む雪の深い街に建ち、これからの公共施設のあり方を提案している。図書館、ホールなどの機能を四角く集約し、その外周を屋根付きの駐車場で取り囲んでいる。また、周辺の公共の建物との間をつなぐルートは建物の中を貫通していて、内部化されたアーケードのような空間をつくっている。
The Hirata-cho Town Center was built in the snowy deep town to which aging goes, and has proposed the state of a future public facility. Functions, such as a library and a hall, are collected squarely and the perimeter is surrounded in the parking lot with a roof. Moreover, the route which connects between surrounding public buildings has penetrated the inside of a building, and is building space like the inside-ized arcade.
